WHO WE ARE
WHAT WE DO
HOW WE DO IT
With updated warehouses, a newly expanded truck fleet and an ever growing staff, MST is more equipped than ever to handle your needs! As we grow, so does our ability to provide you with the right solution. Our unique services include:
With the size and scope of our capabilities, we offer you a way to take control of your own equipment resale program and stop depending on brokers and internet equipment marketing companies. We are able to take the problem out of your hands and give you the necessary space to continue improving your facility.
Takeuchi Medical Equipments is a hospital service company that provides sales representation and equipment relocation services to health systems, primarily along the East Coast stretching west to Chicago and New Orleans but we have done projects as far west at Arizona and California. We assist with department equipment transitions and OEM installations in a supplemental role in providing an integrated equipment relocation solution. MST has internalized resources to coordinate equipment de- installations and move outs, while also providing wholesaling and relocation services.
What makes Takeuchi Medical Equipments so unique is our ability to deal with all facets of a facility. From the basement to the heliport, Takeuchi Medical Equipments is capable and equipped to deal with all department needs within a given facility be it the operating room, imaging, morgue, NICU, PACU, or even the kitchen. We will provide our due diligence to find a new home for a given facility’s surplus equipment.
Current Assessment
Takeuchi Medical Equipments has been in business since the early nineties and is both well staffed and equipped with dozens of employees, it’s own fleet of trucks, and multiple warehouses. With an established clientele, more than 87% of our business is overseas. This is key as we are assuring that not only will their be absolutely no liability issues with a given facility’s surplus equipment but we are making sure we take little to no market share from the US based Equipment Manufacturers and their sales base.
We are truly in business to help our customer facilities’. While other companies want only what suits them or the finest and newest expensive equipment, Takeuchi Medical Equipments is ready to handle all facets. Whether it’s anesthesia machines, surgical instruments, exam lights, or hospital beds, we are trained and capable of tackling the job.
*In large equipment transitions and move outs, Takeuchi Medical Equipments will provide onsite resources (trucks, personnel) to assist with larger projects.
Takeuchi Medical Equipments Terms
Takeuchi Medical Equipments can offer 2 solutions for the current inventory of its customer facilities:
Lot Valuation:
Takeuchi Medical Equipments can offer a lot valuation for all items designated for sale by a given facility.
Sales Contract:
Takeuchi Medical Equipments can offer our standard sales terms to sell and relocate equipment. All items will be inventoried by serial # prior to removal. Our responsibility moving forward will be to provide the hospital or facility a spreadsheet by the 15th of each month updating you on the status of your inventory; by the 22nd of each month the hospital will receive a check for items sold.
Hospital First.
Takeuchi Medical Equipments is not just a great equipment sales team, but also a company with a “hospital first” service and attitude. Within days of contracting our service, we will have our trucks and team available to visit your facility to inventory and remove all items as requested. Whether it is Materials, Biomed, Surgery, Facilities, or a vendor who needs onsite resources to assist with an equipment transition- we will be there.
At no cost to the facility, MST will remove and transport all items to our warehouse in Petersburg, VA to begin our sales and marketing efforts for your organization. That is our “hospital first” workflow and mission as your preferred equipment dealership.
Below are the different steps we take to assess and evaluate your equipment designated for sale to maximize efficiency in removing and relocating medical equipment:
Takeuchi Medical Equipments Value Analysis Hierarchy for equipment:
Step by Step Descriptions:
Relocate
Equipment that has a market value will be sold under the Takeuchi Medical Equipments dealer contract. Under this representation agreement, Takeuchi Medical Equipments is required to give the facility’s Material Management designee a report on the 15th of each month, updating the hospital on the status of the removed equipment. By the 22nd of each month, Takeuchi Medical Equipments must facilitate payment to the facility for items sold. (Alternatively, we can honor our lot valuation estimate)
Donate
Equipment that we cannot identify a new home for will be offered to charities. The current charity that Takeuchi Medical Equipments works closely with is Community Coalition for Haiti, based out of Fairfax, VA (www.cchaiti.org). CCH is a wonderful local organization that has done so much great work in Haiti, in particular with their post earthquake aid initiatives. We are happy to interface with any other charities as requested.
Recycle
Equipment that has no market value or use to charitable organizations will be checked for precious metals including stainless steel, aluminum, alloys, or copper. These will be recycled accordingly.
Discard
Takeuchi Medical Equipments will safely and ethically dispose of equipment that has no market value, usefulness to charities, or does not contain precious metals.
